As a Senior Quality Assurance Tester – Manual, you will play a crucial role in leading test automation strategies, building scalable automation frameworks, and driving quality initiatives across the organization. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure our software solutions meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability. This is a remote position based in India. You will be working with global teams and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration across different time zones.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Tester – Manual to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software products through rigorous manual testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test strategies, execute test plans, and identify/report issues. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep understanding of software testing best practices and extensive hands-on experience with manual testing techniques.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans based on functional and technical specifications.
• Perform manual functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing across web, mobile, and/or desktop platforms.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning to provide QA perspective and improve testability.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to improving QA processes and standards.
• Validate fixes and perform regression testing on new releases.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications across various browsers and devices.
• Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (ex. TestRail, HP ALM).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Experience with Automation testing frameworks (ex. Playwright, Selenium)
• Familiarity with basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• Working hours are Monday thru Friday 2 PM – 11 PM IST.
