Job Description – Senior .NET Backend Developer
Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior .NET Backend Developer with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and Microsoft SQL Server. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems for enterprise-grade applications. Prior experience in the travel and booking domain will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers in MS SQL Server.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and business teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend and database performance issues.
• Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery measures are in place.
• Use Git or similar version control tools for code management.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Expertise in C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning and optimization.
• Proficiency in Entity Framework / ADO.NET.
• Strong experience in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles (SOLID, DRY, etc.).
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or MSTest.
• Hands-on experience with Git version control.
• Preferred:
• Knowledge of Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
• Exposure to travel/booking platforms
